Attorney Profile: Mary Christerson Torrez

Mary Christerson Torrez was born in San Jose, California, raised in Los Gatos, and has been practicing law in Aptos since 1989. Her main area of expertise is estate planning, trust administration, trusts, wills, probate, gifting, business formation and business planning. When Mary’s children were born she continued to practice law, but kept her daughters close by setting up a nursery in her office. As her children grew, Mary took time off from full-time practice in order to be home with them at the end of the school day. Obviously for Mary, family comes first which is why she has chosen to practice law in a field that deals primarily with family issues; protecting family assets for the use and enjoyment of family and loved ones.
